The train station, located at a railway junction, is a great connection to public transport. Anyone who wants to walk the Mostviertel Urspungweg can also join the trail here and start the fourth stage of the circular route, which begins right at the train station. There are also accommodation and catering options very close to the train station.

There used to be a lookout point built on a tree trunk nearby. This rest area with a great view is much more comfortable and also offers exciting information!

The Erla rises about 20 km south of the Danube in the fertile hills of Lower Austria's Mostviertel between Kleinraming and Behamberg, then flows north, where it passes Sankt Valentin and the town of Erla. One or the other crayfish has already been spotted in the Erlabach.

According to tradition, the train station was to be built behind the cemetery, but like many other places, the "steam horse" was banned from the village. The highlights were certainly the opening trip on November 21, 1858, when the "Mariazell" locomotive from Vienna came through here, and when Empress Elisabeth traveled to Salzburg on the train that bore her name in July 1860. Today, the train station in Sankt Valentin is a popular place to change trains, get off, continue your journey and is a transport hub for many people.
