A warm hello to everyone! For over 100 years, the Hohwacht & Lippe Fishing Association has represented the interests of local fishermen and their families. It is the professional and part-time representative of fishermen in Hohwacht and Lippe. In keeping with the association's original purpose, it serves the fishermen in its area and promotes camaraderie. Fishing as an economic factor has been declining for years. The fishing association therefore preserves traditions and memories of the times when fishing in Hohwacht was a central source of family income and social cohesion in the community. The Sehlendorfer Binnensee nature reserve is located in the municipality of Blekendorf Sehlendorf.
