It's worth taking a detour there

In 1896, the new church was completed according to plans by the Hamburg architect Hugo Groothoff. Parts of the foundation and building materials (fieldstone) were likely reused. This makes it a new church by Wörgl standards. The previous building dates back to the 13th century, not from Vicelin's era.

Nowhere else in Schleswig-Holstein can you eat at a higher level, with Holstein and Mediterranean cuisine and a wide selection of wines.

Next to the Elisabeth Tower is the 179 m high Bungsberg radio tower, which was built between 1975 and 1977. From the tower's free-to-access observation platform at a height of 40 m, you can see large parts of Schleswig-Holstein as well as parts of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the Baltic Sea in good visibility conditions.

Great place to see the sunrise or sunset

Small shops, snack bars and restaurants. There is something for everyone here.
