Part of the Transpennine Trail near Hornsea. Work has been ongoing to smooth out some sections where tree routes have disturbed the tarmaced surface. Rideable with MTBs and gravel bikes, not very good for road bikes
The old railway line from Hull to Hornsea which is now repurposed as the Trans Pennine Trail. A traffic free trail where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the quintessential British countryside.
Burton Constable Hall is a Grade I listed Elizabethan Mansion. It is open to the public, as well as its grounds which were designed by Capability Brown.
The end of the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) in Hornsea is marked on the seafront. Leading 215 miles (264 km) from Southport to Hornsea, the TPT is one of the UK's most famous coast to coast cycling routes.
