At this point, you can show off your athleticism, as countless steps await you before you reach the top. You'll enjoy beautiful views of the mountains at every turn. There are also small coves with seating areas where you can relax. Once you reach the top, you'll receive a reward telling you how many steps you've climbed.

Anyone coming from Floyen and wanting to hike to Ulriken should take a look at the climb from here and consider their fitness. The next 3 kilometers are challenging and require a fair amount of climbing skill. It's a relentless climb.

Altitude 643 m Location: Vestland Province, Norway It is the highest of the seven mountains surrounding the center of Bergen. There are radio and telecommunications masts on the mountain. There is also a restaurant. You can reach the top on foot or by cable car. A beautiful hike.

You can get to the top by cable car or on foot. It's a bit strenuous to walk (1333) stairs to the top. Bus and cable car ticket there and back costs around €50

Rundemanen is one of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen and offers a quiet alternative to the more popular peaks. The ascent leads through forested paths and wide plateaus before reaching the summit. There, the distinctive radio tower stands, visible from afar and serving as a landmark. Great view over the city, especially in the evening against the sunset. Easily reached by a hike, but be prepared to be here with lots of people travelling up/down by train.

The view is an absolute highlight, although this here is not Ulriken, but the end of the cable car! The way up the stairs is tiring, when you choose the alternative route it is actually quite enjoyable. The stairs are also the standard training route of the locals, so it can be a bit crowded there in the weekends. Downside of the top is the cable car are the crows up here, but they quickly disperse if you hike further up to the actual top.

Last bit of the trail is a bit rocky but from Bergen you can easily do it on a touring bike. It's steep yes, but you have nice asphaltet or gravel road and don't necessary need a mountain bike.
