No real difficulty until the summit. Be careful in case of snow.

A beautiful, spacious, and comfortable cabin. The cabin can be reached either by boat or via the hiking trail that runs north of Lake Gjende from the eastern to the western end of the lake. From the cabin, you can take a day hike to the summit of Surtningssue Mountain.

This hut is quite small, but very cozy. Inside, you can buy warm drinks and take a good break before heading down. There are also small souvenirs for sale. From the outside, the building looks really beautiful, even when it's frozen.

The top spot in Norway. Even in summer, there's snow there, and the weather can be really bad. But when it's sunny, you can see the surroundings so well. There are also small binoculars, and the hut is right next to it. A place I highly recommend. It's not easy to get there, but it's worth it.

A recommended stopover for a hut-hopping tour through Jotunheimen National Park. Several other huts are easily accessible within a day's hike.

With a trekking backpack, the descent section should not be underestimated. You'll have to backclimb over rocks several times, or abseil down. Steel ropes are available wherever necessary. However, with a good level of fitness, this is no problem.

Lomseggen (1,289 m) rises high above the Norwegian village of Lom, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the valley and surrounding mountain ranges. The ascent is challenging, with a steep and rocky trail that takes you through rugged terrain and along exposed ridges. Once at the top, you're rewarded with breathtaking views, including the snow-capped peaks of Jotunheimen.

At 5,718 feet (1,743 m), Veslfjellet is the highest point on the famous Besseggen Ridge. In contrast to some of the narrower sections on the route, the summit is relatively broad but the views are still spectacular.
