Very beautiful, varied and easy route with little elevation gain.

Beautiful cave, please only view from above. Climbing inside is only for experts and outside of the protected period.

The dilapidated tower marks the entrance to the former Wenglein Park, which is always worth a visit. Although we didn't see any salamanders today, it was still a wonderful nature experience. The land was purchased by Carl Wenglein in 1930 to create a private nature refuge. The park soon developed into a popular national tourist destination. In 1966, the Bavarian Nature Conservation Association acquired the park, and since 1976, the Hersbrucker Land local group has managed it. In 2008, the area was redesigned and expanded into the Hutanger Wenglein Park adventure area. The area was increased to 12 hectares. A roughly two-kilometer-long nature trail with numerous information panels leads through the park (source: Wikipedia).

What a place to relax and there are two of them up here, great views.

This sunny rest area is located a few meters above the wonderful Reichentalweg at the first bend.

The path often meanders along the edge of the forest in a wonderfully calming way.

At dusk there is a lot of bat traffic coming and going!

The forest near Eschenbach is always broken up by beautiful forest meadows. The bizarre rocks on the Koppe create a wonderful mix of landscapes.
