With 80 beds, Snøheim is a large DNT facility, providing a base for those exploring Snøhetta and Dovrefjell–Sunndalsfjella’s other high mountains, with ten peaks over 2,000 metres (6,500 ft) within reasonable hiking distance. A shuttle bus runs from Snøheim to Hjerkinn several times a day during the peak season.

Snøheim is the DNT cabin that provides access to Snøhetta, Norway's highest summit outside of the Jotunheimen region. You can get to Snøheim via a shuttle bus from Hjerkinn.

Mount Kampen is located in the Reinheimen National Park and is very panoramic.

The path to Kampen offers stretches through the forest and wide views.

On the way up to the summit of Kampen, you have a beautiful view of the lakes.
