The lake has carved out a place for itself between the peaks of Lausing-Holten and Pilfjellhola. The slopes of these two mountains rise directly from the lake's shores. The most beautiful view can be enjoyed from the far end of the lake.

There is a car park with a rest area and sanitary facilities.

This Statskog Hytte can easily be rented on the organization's website, for one to several nights. The hut does not have running water; you get it from the stream next to it. An outhouse belongs to the cabin and the bathroom is in the beautiful lake. The cabin seems renovated, the kitchen is equipped with everything imaginable, and the bedrooms are small but can be darkened (important in summer!). Very quiet location! Caution: Transmitting the code for the door lock does not always work automatically. It is advisable to ask for the code a few days before arrival (office hours are limited, especially during the holiday season).

Walks part of the E6 but it's fine😉

Off the E6 is a former campsite. The sanitary facilities are no longer in use. The place is mainly used by Germans as a WoMo parking space, as it is listed in a parking space app. However, near the bathing jetty in the south of the facility there is a small meadow that is good for camping.
