Moss is a historic harbour town on the eastern shore of the Oslofjord, long known for its shipbuilding and paper industry. Today it mixes maritime heritage with a lively cultural scene, offering galleries, cafés and a waterfront that buzzes with ferries crossing to Horten.

Nykirke church is the very distinct white wooden building that you will notice while passing through the area. It's the perfect place to have a break to observe the construction and its peaceful churchyard surroundings before continuing your journey along the nearby roads.

Stop by Alby Kafe for freshly baked wheat pastries such as cinnamon buns and vanilla buns, a slice of carrot cake or a taste of the famous Albykringla. For goodies in a glass, there is both locally produced apple juice from Dyre Gård and freshly squeezed orange juice on the menu. The cafe also makes sandwiches that will appeal to most people!
