헬스호벤의 가장 높은 지점에서 하스펜고우 풍경의 숨막히는 전경을 감상할 수 있습니다. 예술가 Frits Jeuris는 이 지역의 수십 그루의 베어진 과일나무로 독특한 예술 작품을 만들었습니다. "Helsh(ea)ven"은 50년 된 표준 체리나무 90그루로 구성된 목조 예술 작품으로, 2016년 말에 작은 체리 열매를 유발하는 전염성 식물 질병인 체리 페스트 바이러스에 감염되었습니다. 이제 베어진 나무들이 두 번째 생명을 얻습니다. 이 예술 작품은 하스펜고우의 역동적인 풍경을 상징합니다.

The Schulensmeer is the largest inland lake in Flanders. Numerous benches invite you to take a break.

You feel the peace here, especially when you're on the other side and can admire the horses and sheep nearby in the beautiful open countryside. I'll definitely come back here for a walk. Wonderful 😎

On the Bovy estate itself, there are three short themed walks for the whole family (preferably with kids). You can see them on the information board (see photos): a 1.7-kilometer "blue" walk called "Find Martin the Kingfisher," a 1-kilometer "red" walk called "The Hare Path," and the 2-kilometer "green" Wildplukpad (Wild Picking Trail).

For those who haven't been to the Bovy Domain in a while (or not yet), it reopened in September 2024 after a somewhat delayed renovation as the first gateway to the De Wijers nature reserve. In December 2021, De Langeman, a 200-meter-long, 6-meter-wide bicycle bridge, opened. The name De Langeman refers to the famous Hasselt giant, but also alludes to the physical characteristics of Hasselt's longest bridge.[3] The bridge is part of the F72 cycle highway, which changes banks there.
