Sculpture by Naïs D’Hey. The artist Naïs D’Hey was so inspired by the bridge, Maubray and its villagers that she wrote a story related to the statuette that sits near the bridge. A few years ago, Naïs D’Hey submitted a project to the City of Antoing: to create a work for each village. She thus developed a trail of small bronzes, embellished with the 3 tales related to local history. For the occasion, the City of Antoing published a folder, entitled “Promenade antoinienne sculptée et contée”, in which the works are briefly presented and QR codes allow access to the location of the statuettes and the tales. The Grand Large de Péronnes is a 45-hectare artificial body of water created in the 1960s to regulate the level between the Nimy-Blaton-Péronnes canal and the Escaut. This site is popular for water activities, with a marina offering 157 moorings and modern facilities. In addition to water sports, the Grand Large offers hiking trails and green spaces for relaxation and outdoor recreation.

The Péronnes-Antoing marina, located on the Grand Large of Péronnes in Wallonia, is an unmissable nautical site. This vast 45 hectare body of water, developed in the 1960s, serves to regulate the level between the canal and the Scheldt. The port offers 157 mooring rings for boats, as well as modern facilities such as a harbor master's office and a Club House. It is also a popular location for water sports and leisure activities.

The Scheldt lock at Tournai plays a crucial role in regulating the water level and controlling the tides of the river. This infrastructure makes it possible to maintain a constant and secure flow for river navigation and contributes to flood prevention. The surrounding locks and marshes form natural habitats rich in biodiversity, attracting many birds and other species.
