In a beautiful location at the foot of the Kesterheide in Gooik and along the old tram bed, lies the new Paddenbroek Countryside Center. The building itself is a beautiful piece of architecture where old and new are combined into a valuable and unique project. In the gardens you will find a standard orchard with about 200 trees, a pool, an ecological vegetable garden, a baking oven and a bee hall. You can quench your thirst in the cycling and hiking café Paddenbroek.
