테르 에르펜베이크(Ter Erpenbeek, Arpia) 위의 작은 다리는 이곳에서 레세겜(Ressegem)과 부브레흐테겜(Woubrechtegem) 마을 사이의 경계를 이룹니다. 이 다리는 수세기 동안 샤페브룩셰(Schapenbrugje)라는 이름으로 알려져 왔습니다. 원래는 라에크하우트(Hof te Raeckhout, Ressegem) 농장의 양들이 부브레흐테겜(Woubrechtegem)의 아헤임스펠트(Aaigemsveld) 목초지로 풀을 뜯으러 가던 길에 이용하던 판자로 만든 단순한 다리였습니다. 강둑 왼쪽에 있던 큰 농장은 18세기 말에 사라졌고, 이와 함께 다리의 원래 기능도 사라졌습니다. 그 후에도 이 보행자 다리는 두 마을 사이의 들길에서 중요한 역할을 계속했습니다. 아이들은 다리 위에서 직접 만든 낚싯줄을 던지거나 졸졸 흐르는 물에서 가시지느러미고기를 찾곤 했습니다. 이제 샤페브룩셰(Schapenbrugje)는 하이커와 산악자전거 이용자들에게 잘 알려진 장소가 되었습니다. This path winds through the forest near Denderhoutem and offers a serene route surrounded by tall trees and dense vegetation. The semi-paved surface and shady surroundings make the path perfect for a nice bike ride, where you can smell the birdsong and the scent of the forest.

The unpaved intersection near Smetlede is located in the middle of the quiet Flemish countryside, surrounded by winding country roads, fields and green hedges. This intersection marks the start of several charming routes, where you can cycle over sand and gravel paths through a typical agricultural landscape.

Rural Sint-Antelinks, a sub-municipality of Herzele in the Flemish Ardennes, offers picturesque views over rolling fields and meadows. The area is characterised by a mosaic of farmlands, historic farms and winding roads, making it an ideal place for walkers and cyclists who want to enjoy the authentic Flemish countryside.
