More information about Andreas Schotel: Andreas Schotel is mainly known for his Rotterdam and Brabant etchings, but the female nude is also a common thread through his oeuvre. Mies Gips (1898-1991), whom he married in Rotterdam on April 16, 1920, served as the model for the early etchings from the early 1920s.
