St. Vith is one of the best places along the Vennbahn (or generally around) until Troisvierges to refill you needs!

Great to get make progress indeed, but I find it quite dull after 10 km. So if you are like me, take some "shortcuts" over the hills or go for other highlights along the path and then you will be happy to be back on the Vennbahn for some km ;)

You can visit the well-preserved hilltop castle as part of a guided tour. You will learn exciting details about medieval life and the castle's eventful history. The castle lord Reinhard von Weismes once had it built as a border fortification. If you want to take a break before or after the tour, you will find an idyllic picnic area on the banks of the Warche directly below the castle. In autumn, the surrounding landscape is particularly colorful.

The path follows the course of the Warche river and takes you past picturesque views, small bridges and picturesque villages.
