Climbing from Cicagna (north side) and passing through the hamlet of Dezerega, the road is mostly paved, with sections reaching gradients of over 20%. You gain 500 meters of elevation gain in about 5 km. It's very shaded, and from the Crocetta Pass, Rapallo is just a short drive away.

Our tour of the Ligurian Levante makes a short stop in Rapallo to dust off old memories and then continues towards Recco through an internal road full of ups and downs but which allowed us to discover some enchanting small villages

I took Via Zuccarello wrong, but the paths stopped in the olive trees. Obliged to go back to Villa di Scoglio (again I leave the asphalted paths (red square), which stop in the woods for nothing, so with Komoot I went up 100m into the woods to reach the road, thanks Komoot. Next to Casereggio private road 🤷🏼‍♂️ 🤫 Then go back around the ring following the 3 red balls at the crossroads for Monte Ramecetto/Salita Monte Bello and the path to Costa di Soglio.

The Crocetta Pass (599 m), on the road between Rapallo and Coreglia Ligure, is an important Ligurian cycling destination. Also reachable by car, it represents the ideal starting point for excursions to Monte Pegge or Montallegro.
