Right now the entire approach from all sides is blocked with steel barriers and signs indicating Private Property and Danger. These have, in the italian way, all been bypassed by visitors so that the site is still accessible. Nonetheless it IS a dangerous place, you MUST watch your step or potentially fall through holes in the structure.

Fantastic area with dedicated trails made by the locals, lots of flow downhills and very few rocks and roots...a must if you're pedaling around Florence!

Dedicated area for several more or less technical downhill trails with jumps and drops well cared for by local teams. The area also has valid alternatives of cycle paths and connections by forest to other places in the surroundings of the Florentine hills where there is no shortage of other technical and non-technical descents. We recommend appropriate clothing for mtb with helmet and protections. Bring water for lack of fountains
