This place is located in one of the most beautiful and important areas of Medici history in Tuscany. Worth a visit if only for the panoramic view it offers. Just adjacent is the Barchetto della Pineta, one of the most extensive and complete Medici hunting lodges in terms of the number and quality of the structures. The Barchetto della Pineta was part of Poggio alla Malva, a small hill overlooking the Arno, where it is still possible to admire the original access to the banned, the Porta della Pineta.
