I visited the Boè lake twice: the first time it was the classic small circle of water that you can circumnavigate. The second time, in June, it still had sheets of ice that were melting and the water level was so high that it was not possible to walk on the shore. It is a very easy and short walk for those arriving by chairlift. Or it can be the destination of an easy excursion that starts from Corvara. Or it can be an enchanting stopping point for those who intend to continue on foot towards the Kostner refuge.

The Franco Cavazza al Pisciadù refuge, owned by the CAI of Bologna, is located in Alta Badia at 2587 m above sea level. near the border with Val Gardena and offers an excellent accommodation service, bar and restaurant with typical Ladin cuisine.
