In order for Macchiagodena to be identified as the town of books, readers and reading, in 2014 it launched a process that began with the conception of the project "The event of the month" which provides for the monthly scheduling of cultural events, mainly book presentations with the presence of the authors. Almost one hundred events have been held to date, one for each month.
