The small fishing port "Porto Vecchio" on Piazza Magenta was once the center of the town of Malcesine. Today, only small (fishing) boats set sail from here. Where the boats were once pulled ashore on a ramp, visitors can now find a quiet area framed by simple houses and decorated with contemporary stone sculptures.
