The first church was built here in 1086. Even then, the "centuries-old yew tree" was mentioned - its age is now estimated at 1200 - 1400 years. Just love the character that Dartmouth has to offer. The inner harbour is cute with shops and houses around it and a small park directly adjacent to it.

Great little cove to walk to, very secluded and just past the harbour wall.

Totnes is a small market town in South Devon, next to the River Dart. Here you can explore the narrow, bustling streets with lots of independent shops and cafés.

Great locally roasted coffee, Italian inspired food, enjoy the outside seating.

Good campsite, well organised, loads of space and excellent to stay

Bike racks close by with outdoor seating. A great pit stop along the way to dartington & beyond.

The Yew in the churchyard of St Mary & St Gabriel is thought to be between 1,000 and 2,000 years old. The carved wooden slices are from a Leyland Cyprus, they depict the important church events that would have happened in the last 2,000 years.

Excellent country pub with a very good menu. They also do a snacky bar menu and a nice selection of drinks. Well worth a visit.

The Curator Cafe is a great artisan coffee shop in Totnes. They roast and sell coffee beans (or ground) as well as great mugs of coffee, cake, and light meals. Some outside seating and plenty of inside seating. Very friendly.

One of the independent artisan coffee shops for which Totnes is justly famed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Can get very busy on a weekend morning!
