From here, you have beautiful views of the River Dart and the surrounding countryside. The park is a wonderful place to stroll and admire the beautiful plants and trees. It's a lovely place to relax.

Nice little ferry for crossing. Not expensive.

The first church was built here in 1086. Even then, the "centuries-old yew tree" was mentioned - its age is now estimated at 1200 - 1400 years. Legend has it that anyone who manages to walk backwards around it 7 times will have one wish granted. In any case, it is a beautiful, ancient tree that looks pretty healthy and that you just want to hug!

Cockington Hall is at the end of the park and is home to the Seven Dials Cafe, which serves homemade cakes and welcomes dogs.

The Cockington Country Part is located in front of Cockington Hall. In the centre is a green meadow, surrounded by solitary trees and groups of trees. The park is so cleverly laid out that visitors can always catch beautiful glimpses of this green landscape on the paths.

We were able to see dolphins at the end of the headland. A great experience!

Agatha Christie often attended parties hosted by the Cary family, who lived there at the time. The International Agatha Christie Festival now takes place there.

Just love the character that Dartmouth has to offer. The inner harbour is cute with shops and houses around it and a small park directly adjacent to it.
