The La Baita refuge, in the heart of Val di Rezzalo, overlooks the San Bernardo plain and is also an excellent arrival point (or passage) for snowshoeing.

Scala Piana, one of the main towns in the Scala valley, offers a breathtaking view that repays the climb from Mondadizza. Here the legend of the Witches of Scala was born, where it is said of a little girl capable of evoking storms by drawing circles in the water, an art learned from her mother, with tragic consequences.

From Ponte dell'Alpe you can start walking towards the Gavia valley or the Rezzalo valley, but you can also walk along Mount Sobretta. Convenient parking on the road leading to the Gavia pass.

Great valley, like in a picture book. Great for biking with the MTB to the end of the valley. Only then is pushing the order of the day for most people.

The view opens onto Val Furva and the Valle del Gavia. Nearby you can see the remains of fortified lines dating back to the Great War. Presence of numerous equipped areas where you can take a break.
