Great picnic spot

Breathtaking view, even when frozen

Beautiful picnic area with tables and grills, on a lawn by the lake. There is also a stall selling sandwiches and drinks, and firewood can be found on site (under cover near the fountain). Paid parking right next to it, it is a good place to start and go for a walk with a barbecue at the end.

Beautiful lawn overlooking Lake Poschiavo. On the route of several paths that connect Switzerland and Italy, this rest area is equipped with grills, a fountain and a stall selling food and drinks. Very cool and appreciable especially in the height of summer, it is an excellent point to stop before climbing (towards San Romerio or Viano for example) the surrounding mountains.

Miralago at 965 m Miralago (German: Seeblick) is a small hamlet in Poschiavo on Lake Poschiavo

Miralago stands on the opposite side of the lake to Le Prese, offering a different perspective of Lake Poschiavo, with Piz Palu in the background. Inside the town there is the Miralago railway station, on the Bernina railway line, and the San Gottardo Chapel, built between 1682 and 1694.

Beautiful nature reserve with a marshy area full of paths with variable settings. Mostly flat routes and fun little paths to cycle on in the woods and meadows. Very recommended, there are also places to eat in the summer.

Miralago is located in the heart of Valposchiavo, near Valtellina, between Switzerland and Italy. The famous Bernina red train passes here and is one of the most magical stops on the Rhaetian Railway, a section recognized as a Unesco World Heritage Site. The Miralago Hut overlooks the southern shore of the beautiful Lake Poschiavo. Here is a very pleasant path that runs along the entire lake, where you can easily run for a nice scenic ride.
