The old cemetery in Thomasburg is a quiet and mystical place.

Opposite the Church of St. Peter and Paul, separated by the road to Thomasburg, a small path leads to the Old Thomasburg Cemetery. The oldest graves date from the end of the 19th century. The tombs are covered with a green covering of ivy, lily of the valley, nettle and vinca. The old handle pump, which used to supply water in the past, is still in the middle. Some gravestones have fallen over, some are overgrown with ivy, burials have not taken place here for a long time. There is an information board at the entrance to the cemetery. In the cemetery panels: meaning palm branch, rose, cross - anchor - heart, vine, tree in the shape of a cross. A place off the beaten track. A little specialty.
