A beautiful, challenging route, with a mix of different types of terrain, excellent for gaining experience, I recommend it.

Starting point for reaching Cima XII. Be very careful because the dirt road leading to it is not the most comfortable. You don't need a special vehicle, but you must be careful. In winter, thermals and possibly snow chains are mandatory.

On the Malghe road, near Monte Corno, is this inn positioned with a splendid view of the plain.

The gnocchi with ragù are excellent, as is the Asiago and speck pasticcio. The Gegè dish is fabulous but very rich (watch out for the cholesterol), and the beer is delicious. Highly recommended!

From Monte Corno, you have a beautiful view of the entire plain, all the way to the Apennines, Venice, and the Adriatic Sea on clear days! In reality, the summit of Monte Corno, its highest point (1,383 m), is located just to the north, within the rock labyrinth; but here, the monument enjoys a panoramic position and is also visible from the plain. The monument, 26 meters high and composed of four intertwined concrete sails, was erected in 1970 in memory of the partisan fighting and roundups that took place in these areas during World War II.

Once you reach the balcony overlooking the plain, you can enjoy an excellent beer to rehydrate the lost salts.
