Very simple route, also suitable for those walking with children, first part on the driveway, then in the woods following the path with the white and red track, once out of the woods the last part is on a meadow, you have to turn to reach the riding school on the left and re-enter the driveway to close the route

It is a very pleasant stop on the long dirt road that connects San Giacomo to Prà (and beyond), with several possibilities in the surroundings for excursions on foot or by bike, highly recommended. At the refuge you eat well, you can relax and you can also stay overnight. Recommended.

The place is also beautiful with the view of the valley below a beautiful meadow kept wonderfully

Pilone di San Bernardo (1373 m), in addition to a splendid panorama over the entire Alpine range, is a crossroads of various paths. In fact, from here we can reach Vernagli, Prà, Croce Cardini and Monte Alpet with the possibility of connecting the different destinations in circular routes.

Mount Alpet, at an altitude of 1,611 m, can be reached by various paths in the summer, while in the winter it is a ski resort.

Viewpoint and crossroads for various routes including access to Mount Alpet. It can be easily reached with a short walk from the Croce dei Cardini via a path suitable for everyone.
