The Cavarero Bivouac was recently renovated by the CAI of Mondovì and represents a strategic place to touch a lot of the surrounding peaks: the last of the Alps, before the sea. It has a capacity of 12 seats bed and has access to a source of water. Energy is supplied by a small solar panel and in case of emergency, there is also a device capable of alerting emergency services.

The Caravero bivouac is located at the bottom of the Corsaglia valley, north-east of Mount Mongioie (2630 m) and north-west of Pizzo d'Ormea (2476 m). Its strategic position makes it a unique place in this area.
