A beautiful, large, ancient sawmill along the Oglio River. The remains of the mechanisms that used a waterwheel to power a large reciprocating saw on the upper floor are still visible. Metal blades and wheels for moving the logs along tracks are still present.

The Campelli Pass is an Alpine pass at approximately 1,892 meters above sea level that connects the Scalve Valley (province of Bergamo) with the Camonica Valley (province of Brescia). If you're mountain biking over the Mortirolo Pass, you should definitely take this detour, which starts near the Rifugio Mortirolo. You'll be rewarded with a long descent into the Val Camonica!

Excellent starting point for MTB rides above Malonno. There are several car parks and a couple of fountains a little further up. Convenient to reach because it is not far from the road on the valley floor.
