Nice giant bench with easy access. Nice view of the hills.

The Andezeno cemetery is located at the top of a hill which offers a stupendous panorama over the entire surrounding countryside, up to the Turin hill and, beyond, up to the Alps. Inside, the church of San Giorgio al Cimitero, dating back to 12 century, very simple and elegant. Outside, the memorial park for the victims of the two world wars - with two cannons on display, which always leaves me a little perplexed. The park has tall, leafy trees and benches. Just inside the cemetery, drinking water point. It's a little out of the way, it's a blind road and you have to go there on purpose, climbing up rather steep slopes, but it's worth the effort. Recommended destination.

The Grande Panchina garnet and white winks on one side to the color of Barbera (in fact it stands on land occupied, until recently, by a vineyard of this excellent wine), and on the other to the Grande Turin that from Superga watches over and smiles on the visitors of the Big Bench. The Grande Panchina can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes from the municipal cemetery car park, along a simple road gravel ... with a little more effort it is also possible to reach it with strollers. From the Big Bench you can admire the gentle hills of Chierese while, in the distance, the Basilica of Superga and, even further on, the magnificent panorama of the Piedmontese mountains. Behind it, the Great Bench offers a glimpse of the town of Marentino.
