A varied connecting path between Ratzbek and Badendorf. The path and the settlement located there have the strange name "Langenjahren", which was probably originally called "Langen Jarten". The old word Jart (or Yard in English) refers to an old unit of measurement or the corresponding measuring rod.

A picturesque place here on the Trave Bridge between Groß- and Klein-Wesenberg. There has only been a permanent bridge here since 1905; before that there was only a ferry connection here for centuries.
