Very beautifully designed transformer station. Interesting for anyone who likes street art.

On good asphalt with slight waves and curves through the forest past Bornhöveder See, Schmalensee and Belauer See. If you like, you can pause on rustic granite benches at the Holsten memorial stone and look out over the Schmalensee.

This transformer box shows a pair of storks at a body of water, the Tensfelder Au, and a fossil, an ammonite. The design of the transformer box shows wonderfully what characterizes the place. On the one hand there is a stork nest in the village that is probably regularly inhabited. On the other hand, an important source of income in the area is gravel quarrying, for which ammonite stands. The box is near the gravel quarrying area, on the gravel road, which, by the way, is very busy with such trucks. As a cyclist you don't feel so comfortable there. The coat of arms of Tensfeld is also shown. The wave division of the coat of arms symbolizes the Tensfelder Au, which separates the highlands from the lowlands with the meadows and an extensive moor. Pictured above is the endangered sundew, a carnivorous plant representative of the bog. The ammonite seen below symbolizes the gravel quarrying at the site, which has been taking place since 1914.

Cool racetrack. Up and down in curved curves on good asphalt along the motorway. Still not very loud, just a slight hum from the AB.
