Very easy route suitable for everyone

I would say that it is a truly unique place, I must compliment the desire and patience of the authors, it is worth seeing.

Not far from San Secondo di Pinerolo, the beautiful chapel of San Sebastiano features classic Alpine architecture (a pitched roof and portico). It should be possible to visit the interior by appointment. Behind the chapel, a large picnic area with tables and a permanent barbecue is dedicated to Agostino Benedetto, a biker from San Secondo di Pinerolo who died in a cycling accident in 2018. Ironically, bicycles are not allowed in the area.

Transformed into a cycle path ("Via della Pietra"), it is a beautiful route among the greenery, on new and smooth asphalt, and without cars underfoot. Just be careful at the numerous road crossings.

Central square of historic Pinerolo, dominated by the stunning cathedral. Magnificent.

Here you can pedal in complete tranquility and safety on the stretch of the old railway line that once connected Bricherasio to Barge. This was part of the larger Pinerolo-Torre Pellice line, active for the transport of goods and then also used for passengers. Today the railway is disused, but some sections have been recovered, giving rise to a beautiful cycle/pedestrian path.

The open-air museum of Costabella is a unique collection of its kind, born from the passion of Mr. Elio Pons. Along the road, on both sides, you can admire a variety of vintage objects, tools, utensils and machinery from the surrounding area, many of them made of stone.
