농민의 노고에 바쳐진 인상적인 동상이 있고 아름다운 바로크 양식의 교회가 내려다보이는 모치에 광장은 모치에 주변의 마을이나 아름다운 산길을 따라 알로토, 프라시니에르, 프라로토 지역으로 가는 수많은 하이킹을 시작하기에 이상적인 장소입니다. 이 산길은 MTB에도 적합합니다. 작은 주차장, 분수, 벤치가 있으며, 멀지 않은 곳에 하이킹 후 훌륭한 모임 장소가 되는 바가 있습니다.

Between the late 4th and early 5th centuries, the Roman Empire strengthened its Alpine defenses with a system of "locks," fortifications blocking the valleys at key crossing points on the main communication routes to the passes. These were later used by the Goths and Byzantines and were repeatedly restored by the Lombard kings, still interested in maintaining the fortifications and controlling traffic along the border areas. It is highly unlikely that these wall remains, visible for example near the village of Chiusa di San Michele, actually represent the remains of the ancient lock. After the fall of the Lombard kingdom, the lock remained a geographical and liminal landmark, only to eventually lose this function as well during the 12th century. (cit. from M. This cycle path, part of several networks (Ciclostrada Segreta del Diacono Martino, AIDA, Via Francigena, etc.), connects Vaie to Chiusa San Michele, passing along quiet roads halfway up the hillside, with a pleasant up-and-down ride through the trees. On holidays, the roads are closed to motorized traffic. This stretch in particular is very pleasant.
