From here you can admire how man has managed to tame the hills, building this immense heritage of rows with tenacity and patience.

Immediately above Vidor, it actually marks the beginning of the Prosecco Trail. A place of historical importance, the traces of the First World War can still be felt.

This area offers a nice variety of pleasant paths immersed in greenery within everyone's reach.

In 1917, the Bishop of Treviso promised the Madonna that, in case of victory, a church dedicated to her would be built on the top of Montello. Once the war ended, in the fall of 1923, the Collesel della Val dell'Acqua, the highest peak, was chosen for the construction of the church.

1917 was a terrible year for Italy, but above all for the Treviso region. The Italian soldiers at Caporetto were defeated by the Austro-Hungarian empire and proved incapable of slowing down their advance. In those days the bishop of Treviso Msgr. Andrea Giacinto Longhin (proclaimed blessed by John Paul II on 20 October 2002), seeing the grave danger looming over the entire Venetian plain, promised that if the Madonna had spared his diocese and Italy, arresting the enemies in the afterlife Piave, he would have erected a church dedicated to the Virgin on the top of Montello.

Interesting example of twentieth-century architecture which recalls, echoing the name of the town itself, the intense and widespread cult of the Saint of Tours in the area. Its construction ended on 27 July 1927, in the same place where the oratory stood, damaged by the bombings of 1918. Inside the Temple there is a small urn containing various names of people drawn from those couples who ask Saint Martin for the grace to have children, then pledging to impose the drawn name on the newborn. The custom has been documented since May 1743 but its origins are lost in the mists of time and even today dozens of couples, coming from far away, go to the temple for this reason.

Modest height of 418 m on the western sector of the Prosecco Hills. Together with the Costa Granda hill and Col Moliana, it represents one of the highest elevations in the range between Col San Martino and Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene. Its ridge is crossed by path 1016, partly coinciding with the new "T1 - Cammino delle Colline del Prosecco". The top is characterized by the ruins of an old hunting lodge and a table with bench.
