The mill was built in 1630 and shortly afterwards accommodation for the caretaker family, a stable and a granary were added. It exploited the waters of the Lierza stream, the main tributary of the Soligo, at the foot of a 12-metre waterfall; it was decommissioned in 1953. At the end of the twentieth century, after experiencing years of degradation, the mill was purchased by the municipality of Refrontolo, which carried out a careful restoration and turned it into a milling museum as well as a venue for exhibitions, including in 2009, an important retrospective by the painter Angelo Lorenzon and, in winter, the annual International Nativity Exhibition. The Agriturismo Le Noci, in loc. Costarut di Tarzo, is an old rural house, completely renovated respecting the surrounding environment. It stands on top of a hill, in a sunny position, within a 12-hectare property dedicated to woods and vineyards. The company preserves old varieties of apple trees (rosetta, bella di bosco) and "longhet" fig, as well as producing an ancient variety of "white pearl" corn and vegetables, raising sheep, donkeys, ponies, farmyard animals and bees. A characteristic example of rural architecture of the 17th century, the building was built in several stages. The foundations of the original construction rest on the bare rock, precisely the “croda” of the mountain.
