The oratory, of ancient origin, is built near the Riul stream and is documented as early as the early 13th century. In the Middle Ages, the chapel had its own officiating priest and adjacent cemetery; it depended on the Abbey of Sant'Eustachio di Nervesa and was the subject of numerous disputes between Biancade and neighboring parishes (San Biagio di Callalta, Monastier di Treviso, Rovarè, Spercenigo). The chapel was abandoned and likely collapsed in the late Middle Ages. The site where it stood was considered "miraculous," as it was noted that no grass grew on the site of the sacred building. Judging the miraculous nature of this event, the abbot of Nervesa himself was called in in 1593. He visited the site and ordered the landowner to rebuild the sacred building. However, the owner limited himself to building a shrine. The current oratory was rebuilt in 1884 on land owned by the Morosini nobles, in place of the chapel. Wikipedia

Pretty little church located between Biancade and Monastier.

A small countryside area between Monastier and Spercenigo, marked by the small church dedicated to Saint Andrew the Apostle, inside which three paintings recount his devotion. The Riul is a ditch (a drain) that originates in San Biagio di Callalta and ends nearby, southeast of the church, in the Vallio.
