In Costa di Rovigo there is a little girl who reads. It is the beautiful bronze monument inaugurated in spring 2022 and created by the artist Alberto Cristini from Rovigo. Costa is a small town in the Polesine area with 2,500 inhabitants that for its policies of promoting reading has received recognition from the Ministry of Culture as a “City that reads”, and came first in 2022 in the competition for the “Italian Book Capital”.
