The Sentina Nature Reserve, from the mouth of the Tronto River to the north, is a green oasis in which marine ecosystems coexist, such as sand dunes, brackish areas and a remarkable variety of birds. The cycle/pedestrian path runs along a dirt path, with access points to the pristine beach.

The Oasi La Valle is located along the Tronto cycle path. The area is made up of ponds and at the end of the path there is a restored farmhouse for educational and teaching activities. A museum of ancient crafts has also been established. You can admire various animal species along the path and in the ponds (turtles, carp, nutria, horses, heron, etc.).

The columns are located on the cycle path on the seafront of the Municipality of Tortoreto.

I did both the cycle path from Pescara to Roseto and the subsequent one from Roseto to San Benedetto del Tronto, I would say that they are not completely cycleable, you go from the cycle path to the dirt road to the sections on the state roads! We still need to work a lot to make it completely cycleable, sometimes non-existent signs.

The medieval village of Tortoreto is located 227 meters above sea level. The village is very beautiful and well preserved consisting of narrow streets, arches and towers. The clock tower and the Misericordia church are clearly visible. Don't miss the Palio del Barone in July, a historical re-enactment between the two districts of Tortoreto: Terravecchia (whose symbol is the dove) and Terranova (with the crow as its emblem).
