Montorio al Vomano is a town located at the foot of the Gran Sasso Monti della Laga Park, known as the “gateway to the Park”. It is nestled on the banks of the Vomano River and is rich in tradition and history. Artificial lake formed by the damming of the river Vomano. Almost a kilometer long and an average of 30 meters wide. Its maximum depth is about 25 meters. The lake is populated by different species of fish.
