Waterfall within the Gran Sasso Monti della Laga area. Spectacular and reachable with a nice walk from Bosco Martese.

In spring and summer the waterfall is full of water. The route immersed in the Martese forest, among beech and fir trees, is very pleasant. The waterfall in the summer period is worth a bath in costume.

The caciare is a building that in the past was used by shepherds. It was used as a shelter, but also to work and store the cheese; in fact one hypothesis is that the name "caciara" comes from "cacio". The shape of the caciare is similar to the trulli in Puglia.
