Forca di Gualdo is an Apennine pass at 1496 m a.s.l. It offers splendid panoramas and various hiking trails start from here towards the interior of the Monti Sibillini National Park. The climb is demanding and full of switchbacks.

Forest road that from Visso climbs towards the saddle between Mount Cavolese and Mount Cardosa. The dirt and compact surface makes it perfect for gravel and mtb bikes. The road never has extreme slopes whether you go uphill from Visso or downhill in the opposite direction. From this stretch you can enjoy fantastic views of the Valnerina and the Val di Panico.

Different view from the usual ones on Castelluccio di Norcia, on the large plain and on Mount Vettore. It is a dirt road with a very steep initial section but later more pedaled. It also deserves the next stretch up to the pass.
