Very nice climb and never too demanding, a must for the inhabitants of Ivrea and surrounding areas. Once you get almost to the top you can stop at the bar on the right, often frequented by motorcyclists and with beautiful bikes to admire in the parking lot

Private castle, not open to visitors. Point from which you can still go up, direction San Giacomo to continue towards Alpe Pinalba (big bench), or go down towards Settimo Vittone. Or take the little track towards Oropa. Without forgetting the descent more or less along the crest on the blueberry paths. A small GRA 😁

Church built around the year 1000. Initially it was part of the village of Pessano which with Paerno formed Bollengo. When there was depopulation it was all abandoned and only this church was maintained.
