Susa is a town of 6,000 inhabitants in the province of Turin. The historic center boasts many Roman remains, such as the Arch of Augustus, the Roman amphitheater, the temple of the Forum and the Roman aqueduct.

Susa is a beautiful town in the Cottian Alps. Porta Savoia, dating back to the third century, is one of the symbols of the city and is located next to the Cathedral of San Giusto.

A short distance from the Arch of Augustus we find the Porta Savoia, the ancient main gate of the city, dating back to Roman times, and the Cathedral of San Giusto, initially built in the 11th century and then remodeled and enlarged in the 12th and 15th centuries. The two monuments overlook Piazza Savoia, which on the other sides retains the architecture and atmosphere of a typical mountain town in the Western Alps. A wonderful leap into the past.
