원래 이름은 "Passerella di Italia '61"인데, 이탈리아 통일 100주년을 기념하는 "Italia '61" 기념행사로 1961년에 건설되었으며, 방문객들이 코르소 우니타 디탈리아와 코르소 몬칼리에리 사이의 포 강을 건너 카보레토 공원으로 갈 수 있도록 하기 위해 만들어졌습니다.

A beautiful park between Turin and Nichelino, nestled on the banks of the Sangone River, with several kilometers of simple and charming gravel trails through the woods.

The castle is the highlight, but the farmhouse also has its charm: a beautiful, imposing building, built to be practical and useful.

A beautiful stretch of trail that, depending on forestry work in the surrounding woods, sometimes becomes a well-worn trail. Pleasantly winding, it breaks the monotony of the park's very straight routes.

Historical and cultural heritage of Turin

Since the Savoy family wouldn't allow her burial in the Pantheon with her husband, Vittorio Emanuele II, Rosa Vercellana's children said, "Oh yeah? We'll build our own Pantheon" (I don't think they added "with blackjack and a high-class call girl"). No sooner said than done: a mini-pantheon where the beautiful Rosin, the great love of King Vittorio Emanuele II, was buried. Her body was later moved in the 1970s, and the mausoleum was restored and converted into a library. Not always open, it's still worth a stop to take a good look.

The "Turin Marathon" cycle/pedestrian bridge connects Vallere Park to Fioccardo Park. Cycle paths on both banks (construction permitting) allow you to plan and complete beautiful loops along both banks of the Po. Stunning views both upstream (the confluence of the Sangone River) and downstream (the city in the background).
