Pleasant stretch of lakeside near the tourist port

The lakefront of Anzasco is equipped with benches, walls and wooden piers, where you can walk, relax and enjoy the view. The bottom of the lake is sandy and shallow, suitable for bathing. There is also a sailing association here for practicing water sports.

Piverone is a municipality located on the southern slope of the Serra moraine hill. It is known for its countryside cultivated with vineyards which allow for great wine production, but it also offers tourist attractions such as the large bell tower, the small church of Gesiún, and the nearby Viverone lake, where you can practice water sports.

Gesiùn is a Romanesque church near the town of Piverone. Its name means “big church” in the local dialect, although it is actually not very large and today only its ruins remain. It was built between the 10th and 11th centuries, and represents a suggestive passage point on the Via Francigena.

The Church of San Secondo in Magnano is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture, built in the 11th century by Benedictine monks. It is located in a solitary clearing, where the town of Magnano once stood and was restored in 1968, eliminating the baroque additions made over the centuries.

Broglina is a hamlet of Magnano located just below the summit crest of the Serra moraine of Ivrea. From here you can set off on an excursion into the Reserve along the numerous marked paths.

Gesiùn, that is "church" in Piedmontese, although it is not that big. It is an example of Romanesque architecture in the Canavese area as well as a suggestive point along the Via Francigena which passes right next to it.
