Very nice cycle path. Quite crowded in good weather and at certain times.

Since the Savoy family wouldn't allow her burial in the Pantheon with her husband, Vittorio Emanuele II, Rosa Vercellana's children said, "Oh yeah? We'll build our own Pantheon" (I don't think they added "with blackjack and a high-class call girl"). No sooner said than done: a mini-pantheon where the beautiful Rosin, the great love of King Vittorio Emanuele II, was buried. Her body was later moved in the 1970s, and the mausoleum was restored and converted into a library. Not always open, it's still worth a stop to take a good look.

The bridge offers a stunning view of the Po River cycle paths, and from the bridge you can enjoy a stunning view downstream of Turin's city center. Don't miss the Andrea Provana submarine on the left bank.

A very lightly traveled provincial road, full of curves, immersed in the countryside. A pleasure to ride. Beautiful views of both the surrounding countryside and the distant mountains. Unfortunately, the asphalt is quite worn (July 2025), but one still hopes it will be fixed.

In 2018, Vittoria Bussi set the women's hour record (which she then lost, then regained in 2023 and further improved in 2025). A sign, signed by Vittoria Bussi herself, reminds us that the cyclist used the straight stretch of the Strada Reale di Stupinigi to prepare for the record. Riding the same road at my "slow pace" (cit.) is a notable contrast, but it's nice to think that you're riding on the same playing field as the champions.
