The road from Cisterna d'Asti to Canale d'Alba could be nicknamed "The Panoramic": the view of the hills is stunning, making you want to stop every 50 meters. The climb seems to be quite challenging, but with patience, agile gears, and frequent stops to admire the view, it's worth it.

A bike path connecting Chieri to Riva, winding through the countryside with beautiful views of the Turin hills. Two drinking fountains along the route. Halfway along, a gravel path leads to the bike path from Chieri to Pessione.

Cisterna d'Asti is a feast for the eyes: from afar, the castle complex is a sight to behold; once you arrive, not only are the castle and the rest of the town beautiful, but the views of the surrounding hills are breathtaking.

Great place for a lunch stop with a sandwich and ice cream.

A hamlet that takes its name from the (ruin of) castle that dominates it. It is an ancient palace in ruins, with a very Gothic-Romantic appearance, surrounded by the farmhouses that make up the actual hamlet. Arriving from the provincial road from Isolabella to Poirino you are greeted by a Romanesque church, also in a state of partial abandonment (but still intact in its structure), and with a small cemetery in the apse area. The whole thing has the appearance of a Gothic novel, and only a few ghosts are missing to complete the sensation (assuming that they are truly missing...). It is located a little away from the main roads, but you can get there comfortably both from the hamlet of Torre Valgorrera, and directly from Poirino via gravel paths on compact dirt roads in good condition. It is definitely worth a visit.

Chapel dedicated to Mary "Regina Angelorum". Simple, in neoclassical style and colored in antique yellow, it can go unnoticed, placed as it is practically behind a corner of the path, but it is worth noticing it while passing by.
