I take Via G Mazzini in Caravino, arriving from the hairpin bend after the roundabout, direction Caravino, I take the dirt road on the right about a hundred meters after a car park, pleasant hairpin bends, not hard, but after the rain they are very bumpy at times

22 turns marked by stone markers that connect the Masino Castle with the Provincial road; unfortunately the old entrance is closed at the gate. It gets a little longer with the alternative route.

The Naviglio is an artificial canal that carries the waters of the Dora Baltea from the center of Ivrea to the rice fields of the Vercelli area. It was built in the 15th century. for irrigation and navigation purposes. The project is attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci: next to the autograph drawing there is the caption: "navilio dinvrea made by the Doira river [...] reverse mountains in its forest part produces towards the north".
